Alpine skiing

The alpine slopes at Gautefall are right next door to the Gautefall Hotel and Gautefall Club ski complex, and range from 350 m to 1,200 m. With its main chair lift, five surface lifts and one magic carpet lift, the Gautefall Alpine Resort has a total ski lift capacity of more than 7,000 passengers/hour. There are 14 slopes, a 300 m sledging hill, a separate snow games area, children’s slope with free lift for children under 7, and a ski school providing instruction in all types of cross-country and alpine skiing techniques. At Gautefall Alpine Resort you will also find a snowboard park with the world’s first wildpipe! And, though we say it ourselves, Norway’s best snow canon system…. On Thursdays and Fridays the slopes are floodlit for night-time skiing. The conditions are great for all techniques: Telemark, snowboarding and X-cross skiing.
