Telemark is an eldorado for children. Try Norway’s biggest water park in Bø, the new ”Fairytale factory (Eventyrfabrikken) in Skien and enjoy the beautiful beaches on the coast.

Walking tours

Telemark offers a variety of marked trails – from easy Carwalks to tougher walks on the Hardanger mountain plateau. New breathtaking path in Tokke, ”Tougher than Besseggen”. Nordic walking in Vrådal.

Enjoy the beautiful coastline by canoe or kayak. The Telemark Canal is also an exciting experience for canoeing, as well as fresh water lakes in Drangedal, Fyresdal, Vrådal and Nissedal.

Telemark is one of Norway’s best fishing counties and can offer fishing in the sea, rivers, lakes and mountain lakes. One of Europe’s best deep sea fishing waters is outside Langesund.
